It is sad to hear of the devastation caused by the flooding throughout Victoria and our hearts go out to our fellow farmers.
In saying that, we are very relieved that we have not been detrimentally affected by the floods. Nuggetty Creek is actually flowing for first time in 8 years. The Laanecoorie Weir that backs onto the grove has water thundering down the spillway. This is a very positive result for us, as we now have an abundance of water for use on the olive trees. The grove will take a good month to dry out, but the trees look better that ever.
